Event Information

Our 2024 virtual spring workshop will be held on Wednesday, April 17th from 8:45 a.m.- 3:30 p.m. On that day, approximately 200 educators from around the state of Iowa will convene to learn how to better support the educational needs of gifted children and youth. Our featured speaker this year will be educator and author, Lisa Van Gemert, “Gifted Guru”, who will be presenting on best practice strategies for all educators who work with gifted learners, Gifted All Day, Every Day.  These practical sessions will support educators and our Iowa Code and transform teaching leveraging the science of learning. This session will be recorded and available to registrants after the event.

Please note that due to changes in our registration processing system, only members can register themselves (or other members) at the member rate. That said, we encourage teachers to self-register for our annual conference/spring workshop.
